Constitution 2nd amendment hailed with illumination across country

Kathmandu, 14 June : The second amendment to the Constitution has been hailed across the country by lighting lamps.

An illumination programme was organised in Banepa of Kavrepalanchok, this evening hailing the constitution amendment. The National Youth Association and the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), the two sister organisations of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), lit lamps on the occasion. Activists of both the organisations celebrated the day by waving national flags in jubilation at Banepa Chardobato. In Tanahu,Syangja Biratnagar, Butwal, Bajura and several other parts of the country an illumination was organized.

Lamp lighting programme was also held in Martadi, the district headquarters of Bajura district, by NCP Bajura on the occasion.
