PM Oli preparing to reshuffle cabinet

Kathmandu, 17 August: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is preparing to reshuffle his cabinet by managing his rival groups in the party, sources say.
Oli has agreed to call the party secretariat meeting to resolve internal disputes in the party. The party secretariat meeting is going to take place today.
The meeting is believed to formalize the six-member task force constituted to pave the way for ending the ongoing dispute in the party. Earlier, party chairmen-duo Oli and Pushpakamal Dahal had constituted the task force, which was opposed by party’s senior leaders Madhav Nepal, JN Khanal and party spokesman Narayankaji Shrestha.
The six-member task force consists of party general secretary Bishnu Poudel, Janardan Sharma, Shankar Pokharel, Bhim Rawal, Surendra Pandey and Pampha Bhusal — two each from three camps in the Nepal Communist Party.
