No fertilizer yet

Kathmandu, 16 August: The government has given priority to the agriculture sector but it has failed to import fertilizer during the paddy farming season.
The spokesman in the Agriculture Ministry had claimed that the fertilizer imported by the government would arrive in the country by the month of Asar, however, even in the end of next month Saun (16 August), farmers are not been able to get fertilizer.
This is serious negligence of the government authorities that the farmers are facing every year.
