Police arrests man on rape charge in Morang

Province 1, Morang, Pathari Shanishchare, Ward 8 - #GBV, #Children’sRights, Police have arrested Rajan Limbu (48) of Patharisanischare Municipality-8 on 7 May accusing him of rape on a 16-year-old. The accused had threatened the victim of killing her if she complained regarding it, due to this, the case reached police lately, informed DSP Dilip Giri. The accused has been raping the victim from the past six months. The complaint was filed on 7 May. Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 7 May at Koshi Hospital. The victim is already six month’s pregnant. Now, the victim is kept at WOREC Nepal, Biratnagar. Netra Prasad Adhikari
