Government plans to prolong lockdown until 14 June

Kathmandu, 30 May: The government has planned to extend the lockdown period until 14 June. The previous announcement for lockdown is going to expire by 2 June midnight, yet, the government is all set to extend lockdown till 14 June, reports Reporters’ Nepal online portal.

However, the government is planning to change the modality of lockdown.

According to sources, the government may allow operation of industrial, business and other sectors maintaining security guidelines, nevertheless, public transportation and educational sector may remain closed.
