Another consignment of medical supplies arrives

Kathmandu,28 May : Another consignment of medical supplies procured from China has arrived. The medical supplies procured through government-to-government basis by Nepal Army was brought to Kathmandu from China this morning.

Nepal Army brought 28 tons of medical supplies by charter flight of Nepal Airlines, according to Nepal Army Public Relations and Information Directorate.

Following controversy on procurement the government on April 1 had unilaterally revoked the contract with Omni Group that had brought the first lot of medical supplies from China three days earlier, citing the latter’s inability to bring additional materials.
