Kathmandu, 13 May : Lawmaker Dibyamani Raj Bhandari has sought resignation of Defence Minister Ishwor Pokhrel, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and Nepali Ambassador to India Nilambar Acharya.
While speaking at the House of Representatives on Tuesday, he demanded ministers and envoy’s resignation for their inefficiency in handling the matter with India relating to encroachment of Nepali territory. “They have lost moral ground to remain in the position. Hence they step down,” he said.
After Indian Minister for Defence Rajnath Singh announced the inauguration of a link road to Mansarovar that passes through Lipulekh, Pokhrel, Gywali and Acharya’s silence on the issue during construction of the road is objectionable, according to MP Raj Bhandary.
