
Kathmandu, 13 May: By Tuesday evening, the total number of coronavirus cases inclined at 217.
18 infected cases in Parsha district, two in Mahottari, two in Dhanusha were identified with coronavirus positive.
Accordingly, two in Bhaktapur, one in Kathmandu and one in Sarlahi were identified with coronavirus positive.
Earlier, Tuesday morning, 57 cases were identified coronavirus positive.
Tarai districts bordered with India are affected with coronavirus spread as people are arriving in the districts from India by escaping Nepali security authorities. Many of the infected persons were arrived from India after lockdown in Nepal. They were the main source of transmitting virus in locals.
As the trend of travelling one district to another has not been stopped and arrival of people in the Valley is around seven thousand daily, Kathmandu is under serious threat of spread of pandemic.
