
Kathmandu, 12 May: Chinese ambassador Ms. Hou Yanqi handed over another batch of medical materials to Minister of Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal at a ceremony organised here.
China has donated medical materials there are 40000 units of Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Nucleic Acid Diagnostic Kit, 10000 pieces of Disposable Coverall, 10000 pieces of Medical Goggle, 20000 pieces of N95 Face Mask and 800000 pieces of Surgical Mask, which were transported to Kathmandu on 9thand 10th.
The embassy has stated that this concrete measure is among Chinese efforts to implement the consensus of the leaders of the two countries to support Nepal in fighting against COVID-19. Previously, some provincial local governments, charity foundations, and enterprises of China had donated three batches of materials to Nepal, including test kits, PPEs and N95 Masks.

“We are a community with a shared future, and COVID-19 is our common enemy. Only when all countries of the world work together can we finally overcome the pandemic. China is willing to continue providing assistance and support to Nepal and all other countries in need to fight against COVID-19 within its capacity. We sincerely wish Nepal early victory over the pandemic and return to normal life” the Embassy has stated.
