Ward Chairperson arrested on charge of rape in Gorkha

Province 4, Gorkha, Palungtar, Ward 4 - #GBV, #Children’sRights, Police arrested Thakur Kant Ranabhat, Ward Chairperson of Gorkha, Palungtar Municipality Ward-4, elected from Naya Shakti Party, on August 3, on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl. Police arrested Ranabhat on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim's mother.He is held at custody and police are further investigating the incident.
