Talking to media persons after assumption of office in Singhadurbar today, Minister Chaudhari said, “I will concentrate on how the problems created by the decline in foreign jobs to migrant workers and shrinkage in labour market in the wake of COVID-19 could be addressed.” He added that many people lost their jobs and businesses got paralysed, so creation of employment must be top in the to-do list.

The Social Security Scheme will be made more effective by creating an atmosphere that is favourable in generating jobs within the country, the minister said, adding that the foreign employment sector was still facing problems which also needed proper attention.

Moreover, Minister Chaudhari said that he would hold discussions regarding the past activities and the ones that would be done in the future. “I will be tough against the maladies that are plaguing the foreign employment sector,” he vowed, assuring justice to those aspiring for foreign jobs. Making sure that there is transparency in this sector is an equally important task, according to him.
