Three personnel at Kathmandu Police Control contract Covid-19

Kathmandu, August 10

Three personnel working at the Metropolitan Police Control in Ranipokhari, Kathmandu have contracted Covid-19 as confirmed on Monday morning. Another staffer here is already surviving the infection.

After the confirmation of infection in four persons, the level of risk has increased for other around 100 personnel working there. Currently, preparations are underway to get personnel who were in the infected persons’ contact tested.

Of late, the number of infection cases among the security personnel is increasing. The Nepal Police Headquarters itself has several dozens of active Covid-19 cases.
