Kathmandu, 21 May, India, which has unilaterally occupied the Kalapani territory belonging to Nepal, has denied to accept the new map unveiled by Nepal by incorporating Nepal’s sovereign territory.
Spokesman of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, in response to the questions put forward by journalists on Wednesday in Delhi, said that the new map released by Nepal is unacceptable for India.
Spokesman Anurag Srivastava said that the map was not based on historical facts and evidence.
“Such artificial enlargement of territorial claims will not be accepted by India”, he said.
He asked the Nepal government to respect India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
