Kathmandu, 19 May : The country has recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases in a single day. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 80 new cases in 13 districts have been confirmed on Monday. with this, the total number of infected persons have reached 375.
The infected are 316 males and 59 females. Of them 36 have recovered and returned home while two have succumbed to the deadly virus so far. Narainpur, eastern part of Banke district has become hotspot with 59 positive cases.
