Kathmandu, 14 January: Supreme Court, approving previous decision of the Revenue Authority’s decision, has blamed different five companies against exploiting government revenue by using fake VAT bills.
The bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana and justice Prakash Kumar Dhungana on Monday gave the verdict against five companies for exploiting government revenue.
Following the fresh verdict, the government can collect billions of rupees as revenue and fine from five companies.
Bhatbhateni Supper Market and Departmental Store Pvt Ltd, IT Pvt Ltd, Arun Intercontinental Traders, Shankar Oxygen Gas Pvt Ltd, Baniya Store are blamed for using fake VAT bills with the intention of exploiting government revenue.
