NCP candidate wins in Dang province assembly election

Kathmandu, 2 December: In the by-election of the province assembly member from Dang 3 Kha, NCP candidate Bimalakumari Oli has won by defeating nearest rival Keshabkumar Acharya of the NC.

Oli has bagged 24286 votes against Acharya’s 19182.

Accordingly, in the election of Baglung 2 Kha province assembly member, left alliance candidate Khimbikram Shahi has been elected by defeating NC candidate Jeet Sherchan. Shahi bagged 11235 votes against his nearest rival Sherchan’s 9138 votes.

Likewise, in the federal parliament member’s election from Kaski 2, Bidhya Bhattarai, widow of Rabindra Adhikari has won the election by defeating NC candidate Khemraj Poudel with a difference of 8403 votes.

Bhattarai bagged 24395 votes against NC candidate Poudel’s 15983.
