Kathmandu, 28 December: Amidst boycott of Ramchandra Poudel and Krishna Prasad Shitaula factions, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, in the strength of his majority in the party central committee, took some vital decisions, including the schedule of the party’s 14th national convention, which has intensified anger of the opponents.
At the meeting attended by establishment faction on Friday, the national convention date was announced for 19-22 February, 2021 by extending the tenure of tenure of all the committees for one year.
The CC meeting has also announced the election schedule of entire organization of the party.
Meanwhile, opponent factions have expressed anger against Deuba saying that he tried to suppress the opponents in the strength of majority, which will not be acceptable for the opposition factions.
