Minister for Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation Hridaya Ram Thani has disclosed that the constitution amendment process was in the final stage.
Talking to journalists at Kuntabesi of Mahadevsthan, Kavre on Thursday, he informed that the Prime Minister is taking initiative for the amendment to the constitution.
The Minister expressed his confidence that the constitution would be amended as the understanding of the government and main opposition on the matter is somehow similar.
Earlier, speaking at a programme organized by Samaj Serwa Samuha, Minister Thani called for the non-government organizations also to maintain transparency.
He also highlighted the need to utilize donor money in a way to provide effective services to the deprived sectors.
