RAUTAHAT: The Rautahat District Court has sent a suspected serial killer targeting minors to judicial custody till a final verdict on the case.
Bal Kishor Chaurasiya (28) of Katahariya VDC-8 was arrested by the Nepal Police from Nepal-India border on August 24.
Police had indicted him at the District Court for kidnapping children between four to eight years from their house, raping them and killing them ultimately.
According to DSP Nabin Krishna Bhandari, he used to break their hands and legs first before raping them and throwing their bodies in streams.
In a recent case, he had kidnapped a four-year-old of Garuda Municipality on June 24, eight-year-old of Sitalpur Bairganiya on July 8 and six-year-old of Maryadpur on August 24. All three children, however, were successfully rescued, Bhandari added.
