Kathmandu, 8 November: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority arrested Parbat Paudel, an engineer working at Belkotgadhi Municipality, on corruption charges. The anti- graft body detained Paudel, a resident of Sunsari, while he was receiving a bribe of Rs.75,000 in an eatery in Bidur on Saturday. Paudel allegedly demanded money from two service seekers to include their names in the list of beneficiaries to receive housing reconstruction aid.
