Three reject appointments as central members in Oli’s camp

BARA, DECEMBER 23

Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bara Secretary Sundar Biswokarma, who was picked as a central member by the party’s KP Sharma Oli-led faction, has refused to accept the offer of central membership.

Biswokarma came up with a statement today describing his appointment as a central member by a faction as something done with ‘evil intention’ and said the appointment had drawn his attention.

In his statement, Biswokarma, who is NCP (NCP) Province 2 committee member and district committee secretary, rejected the position of a central member and asked all not to be duped by media reports. Just yesterday, the Oli-led meeting had appointed him, among others, as central member.

Meanwhile, another NCP (NCP) province committee member Kamalesh Jha has also declared he is not in the central committee of the Oli-led group.

Jha is GEFONT Province 2 committee chairperson.

Similarly, another person who was also appointed as central member, Kalyani Chaudhary, has rejected the membership.

Besides, Biswokarma, Jha and Chaudhary, Gita Kandel, Adhyanand Pandey, Kewal Chaudhary and Binod Sah were appointed central members by the group led by Prime Minister and NCP (NCP) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli .
