Youth arrested on charge of attempted rape in Siraha

Province 2, Siraha, Bishnupur, Ward 5 - #GBV, #Children’sRights, 23-year-old Shatrudhan Yadav of Bishnupur Rural Municipality-5 Laxmipur of Siraha was arrested on October 13 on the charge of attempting rape on a 5-year-old minor.  According to police, Yadav tried to rape her by taking her to a mango orchard, but the girl fled by pushing him. A police team from the District Police Office, Siraha arrested Yadav on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim's family members and the further investigation is underway into the incident
