Kathmandu, 24 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. Saturday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 2,225 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours.
With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 155,233.Of the new cases reported today, 1,110 are from the Kathmandu Valley.
Today 2,846 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 108,334. As of today, there are 46,057 active cases of infection across the country.
Thirteen more Covid-19 fatalities have been reported today. With the latest addition, death-toll from corona virus infection in the country has reached 842.
