Man arrested for attempted rape in Mugu

Province 6, Mugu, Mugum Karmarong - #GBV, Police arrested a man on the charge of attempting rape on a 24-year-old woman with a disability in Mugumkarmarong village. Police have arrested a 23-year-old youth of Chhayanathrara Municipality.  District Police Office Information Officer Bhim Dutta Joshi said that the youth had tried to rape the woman on Saturday.  Joshi said that the youth was arrested after the victim's family lodged a complaint.  He informed that the incident is being investigated.
