Govt warns of imprisoning infected disobeyers

Kathmandu, 10 October: The government has warned that any person with Covid-19 infection not staying in isolation will be imprisoned for six months. The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) during a press briefing on Friday, stated that some infected persons instead of remaining in isolation have moved out of their houses it stated that one who defies health safety protocols by not remaining in isolation will be jailed for six months. It has urged every individual who have given sample for Covid-19 test to remain in quarantine until they receive the report.
