Kathmandu, 24 October: The leading members of Civil Society have vehemently condemned the recent midnight meeting between Prime Minister Khadga Oli with Samant Kumar Goyel, Chief of India’s external Intelligence Agency, Research and Analysis Wing, R&AW.
Twnty-three members of the Civil Society members have opposed the meeting stating that it cannot be termed as ‘courtesy call’ since it was held sans the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They have sought clarification from Oli on what prompted him to hold a meeting with the spy head secretly at midnight. They have labelled the meeting a mysterious one, in an appeal issued today.
