Mukunda, Ubraj Adhikari bereaved of their mother


Kathmandu, 21 August: Mukunda Adhikari and Ubraj Adhakari are bereaved of their mother Indradevi Adhikari.
Late Indradevi, 85, a resident of Aitabare, Suryodaya Municipality, Ilam, passed away on Tuesday, 18 August at the Manmohan Hospital in Birtamod while undergoing treatment.
Her last rites were performed on Wednesday.
Mukunda Adhikari is a former bureaucrat and currently staying in the US, whereas, Ubraj Adhikari, recently retired director in the Nepal Airlines, is a poet, who has also penned several Nepali modern songs. Ubraj has also released several musical albums — collections of songs penned by him.
Years ago, Ubraj was associated with the Samrachana weekly family, a sister publication of the People’s Review weekly, earlier to he joined the then Royal Nepal Airlines.
On the sad demise of their mother, the People’s Review family extends heartfelt condolences to the Adhikari brothers and other members of the bereaved family and prays to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
