
Kathmandu, 89 August: The government has become ready to ink a 12-point agreement today by responding to the demands raised by “Enough is Enough” campaigners, according to the spokesman of the campaigners.
A member of the campaigners, Iih, has staged a hunger strike at Kathmandu Durwar Square for the last 24 days demanding government’s proper attention on coping with the coronavirus pandemic.
The youth campaigners have demanded PCR test at mass, maintaining transparency on the government expenditure in procurement of the medical supplies, among other 15 demands.
Earlier too, the youth campaigners had staged fast onto death at Patan Durbar Square. The hunger strike was ended following an agreement with the Health Ministry. When the government neglected to respond to the demands raised by the youth campaigners, they had restaged hunger strike at Bashantapur in Kathmandu.
