Kathmandu, 22 August: Along with prohibition order imposed in the Kathmandu Valley, the vegetable price has been skyrocketed by 80 per cent, reports Gorkhapatra daily.
According to the Kalimati Vegetable Market development Committee in Kathmandu, compared to the vegetable price on Wednesday, the wholesale price was inclined by 80 per cent on Thursday.
Due to lack of market monitoring, vegetable traders are practising black-marketing, say consumers.
