Kathmandu, 20 August: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health and Population confirmed 681 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours, taking the national tally to 28,938. Among the fresh cases, 159 have been reported from within Kathmandu Valley.
On Wednesday, 120 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 17,700. As of today, there are 11,118 active cases of infection across the country.
