NC 14th general on February 19-22

The Nepali Congress decided to hold its 14th central general convention from February 19 to 22, 2021 in Kathmandu as scheduled earlier.
A Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the NC held on Monday decided to hold its 14th general convention as scheduled earlier by amending the calendar.
Amending the convention calendar, the party said it would accomplish the task of completing adjustment of the party’s local structures in line with the federal structures by July 25 and complete distributing and renewing the active membership by September 26.
The party’s District Working Committees were instructed to send the details of new members and those who renewed party’s membership to the party’s central office by September 26.
The meeting decided to hold the village/municipal ward level convention on December 21, village and municipal level convention on December 23, provincial assembly regional general convention on December 26 and electoral constituency level or the district level convention that has only one constituency on December 28.
The district general convention in the districts having more than one electoral constituency will be held on December 31. The provincial general convention of the party in all seven provinces will be held on January 19, 2021.
