Covid-19 infection in 71 places of Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu, 9 July : Alarming situation has emerged as 71 places of the Kathmandu Valley have been detected having corona virus contagion.

As of Wednesday, 290 persons have been confirmed of Covid-19 contraction and Kathmandu alone accounts for 191 while Bhaktapur shares 43 and Lalitpur 56. According to Kantipur daily, people without travel history have been found infected. ‘If the address of the infected person is analysed, we find that corona virus infection has reached every corner of the Kathmandu Valley,” reports the paper.
