Kathmandu, 3 June :
The Public Health Emergency Act 2075 is coming into effect after Covid-19 cases crossed 2,000 in the country. The cases have reached 2,099 after 288 new cases were identified in a single day yesterday.
The Act comes into effect after the number reached as defined in the act. The standard in the act defines it as the level-2 effect of the epidemic after the infected cases reach 2000 to 5000.
With the continuously increasing number of infected persons, the Ministry of Health and Population has stated that it was preparing an effective strategy to combat it.
