Government to bring large number of Nepalis from abroad
Kathmandu, 5 June: The government has decided to rescue a large number of Nepalis facing crisis in foreign countries due to the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
Today, Nepal is receiving 236 Nepalis returning from UAE and Myanmar.
The UAE government is sending 210 Nepali labourers, whereas, Myanmar is sending 26 Nepalis facing problem in their countries. The two countries are sending Nepalis on their own cost.
Nepal is going to start bringing Nepalis from abroad from 10 June. The Nepal Airlines and Himalayan Airlines aircraft have kept at ready position to bring Nepalis from abroad.
The two aircraft, with 14 flights a day, are bringing 2 thousand 656 Nepalis from different countries.
