Kathmandu, 3 June : Reviving the amendment proposal bill that failed on August 21, 2017 put forth by President Sher Bahadur Deuba- led coalition government to address the demands of Madhes-based parties, eight Nepali Congress parliamentarians have registered a separate Constitution amendment bill yesterday.
Lawmakers Pradeep Giri, Amresh Kumar Singh, Umakanta Chaudhary Teju Lal Chaudhary, Chitra Lekha Yadav, Abhishek Pratap Shah, Namita Chaudhary and Padma Narayan Chaudhary have registered the amendment bill with the Federal Parliament Secretariat as non-government bill, according to Parliament Secretariat.
