BABBLES
The other side of the coin

By Babbler
Nepal Communist Party co-chairman Pushpakamal Dahal, encouraged with the support for amendment of the constitution to change the political map of the country, said that the territory, which, the monarchs had lost, will be returned in the republic era!
Perhaps, he then remembered the openhearted Indian support for the Maoists launching bloody war in Nepal, said that he had no intention to develop enmity with India.
The other side of coin is that the Indians were unable to construct road during the monarchy era and never attempted to print the political map by including the Kalapani territory. The Indians had to wait the republican era to accomplish all these tasks!
Sukh Deo Muni’s funny argument
Sukh Deo Muni or say SD Muni wrote on his twitter account: “Let Nepal celebrate its constitutional new map. Pakistan has been enjoying maps taking Kashmir out of India and China has been doing so in relation to Akashi Chin. If maps could alter solid claims, world would have been a different theatre.”
Muni has truly projected true picture of expansionist India!
Muni is of course humiliated as his blue-eyed boys dared to challenge/hurt India’s expansionist move!
Donation, grant and loan
Several decades ago, Ethiopia was one among the poorest country and every year a large number of people were dying from famine and suffering from mal-nutrition.
One visionary president in the country announced for economic prosperity. He convinced his people saying that big and rich countries never come to make Ethiopia a rich country but they want to keep the country poor so that they could permanently dominate such a country.
He developed the idea of exploiting rivers and generating hydropower through the investment of the Ethiopian people. The government, in partnership with the people, constructed one after another hydropower project, which has now transformed Ethiopia a prosperous nation.
We are debating on pros and cons of MCC, American grant project. We have not seen any of the countries have become prosperous from such grant projects. Therefore, if the leaders in the government have the courage, let they reject the MCC project, which may make us slave, dependent and poor!
Let the leaders in the government think about people’s partnership in development projects by maintaining total transparency! Let them know how Great King Prithivi Narayan Shah created modern Nepal by collecting donation from his people following the idea explored by Bishenagarchi!
