Again, farmers face fertilizer scarcity
Kathmandu, 12 June: Farmers are facing acute shortage of fertilizer nationwide on the eve of rice plantation season. This is not a new problem as farmers are facing such a shortage every year.
This year, the government has clarified that due to the coronavirus pandemic, fertilizer imports have been affected.
Government undertaking companies, which were importing fertilizer from abroad, have said that due to the pandemic fertilizer is not going to be arrived soon.
To note, by next week rice plantation season begins in the country.
