166 thousand people entered from India since lockdown

Kathmandu, 5 June: 166 thousand people entered into Nepal from India since lockdown has been announced in the country.

This is the formal record, it is believed, a large number of people have entered Nepal through illegal channel after lockdown, according to the Naya Patrika daily.

To note, after people started to come from India, Covid-19 suffered country, the pandemic in Nepal has spread astonishingly.

Government in dilemma:

The ongoing lockdown has virtually paralyzed the economic sector, in the meantime, the pandemic spread rate has also been inclined, however, the government is confused on taking decision.

Not only the poor people but also the middle class people have been affected very badly due to the prolonged lockdown. They have started to defy lockdown. In many places, they have organised demonstration demanding easing of the lockdown.

On the other hand, the cabinet meeting held on Thursday evening concluded without any concrete decision.

Meanwhile, the government is planning to announce public health emergency after the pandemic spread rate became uncontrolled.
