Kathmandu, 5 December : The Kathmandu District Court has issued an arrest warrant against Nepal Police Deputy Superintendent of Police Kumodh Dhungel for his alleged involvement in criminal activities.
He was suspended by the Nepal Police Headquarters in April after a person arrested in connection of robbery revealed his name during interrogation. Bikash Shrestha, who was arrested on charge of robbery in Ranibari April 9, claimed that he had met Dhungel on the day of robbery. Dhungel is one of the encounter specialists in Nepal Police.
