Kathmandu, 7 November: Dr Aruna Uprety, one of Nepal’s prominent nutritionists has tendered her resignation from the post of advisor as she learned that Chaudhary Group’s shady business deals. According to media reports, she resigned from the Baliyo Nepal Project, supported by Chaudhary Group- the producer of junk food. “I am ashamed to have been part of the vested interest of a company that promotes junk food,” she has been quoted as saying.
